Bye-bye, BLUEStorm.
Jun. 20th, 2016 07:08 pm![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
I'm feeling a bit down right now, and if not having a fever for days and not being able to go to work, despite on being still on probationary isn't unfortunate, another "problem" comes up...
Our page BLUEStorm was reported for copyright infringement. Yep.
And because of the new format of facebook, it's not only the page that was banned from posting anything or performing anything on facebook, my very own account is also included. :(
I wan't to save anything that I can, especially the videos, but since I'm sick, I can't stay in front of the computer for too long. I actually just opened a laptop to check if I could do something to fix the problem and to write this here, since I can't post anything in my account for 3 days. T_T
I don't want to involve the personal accounts of the two other girls that were helping me with the page, so as early as now, I'll delete the page completely.
My cousin and I made BLUEStorm together in 2014 because we love CNBLUE and Arashi a lot... (Lol, I actually just forced her into the idea... ahaha) She eventually stopped posting CNBLUE related stuff because schoolworks kept her occupied and busy, but she never left the page. Arigatou~
But kidding aside, as a jpop fan, most especially a Johnny's group fan, I think everyone can relate on to how hard it is to be a new fan, and just when you want to know more about them, you'll realize there's nothing much out there in the open... No vids, no varieties, no concert clips not even MVs.. And if you're not aware of the JE culture and how they run things, you'll wonder why there aren't any PVs anywhere, when even hollywood artists and musicians put their materials to where people can get it conviniently. In my own case, it took me almost 6 months before I realized how things worked around the fandom. I remember there were times I felt really frustrated because even if I tried to search for them in google, I always get the same results over and over again. So when I learned how to use Aegisub, freemake and all the stuffz, I eventually tried to keep on putting subbed perfs, MVs and concert excerpts on the page (even though they're really shabby, sumimasen~) so that the new fans would at least see even just a little of what Arashi is like and so they could also realize why we love them so much despite the fact that being an arashi fan is a little hard. It takes a little effort to get their vids online (and an awful chunk of your precious time, lol), but the happiness and relief they bring to their fans makes it all worth it. <3
Johnny's strictness when it comes to the policies they impose are one of the top reasons why moderators who run communities here in lj are strict when it comes to online public sharing, they're trying to be as discreet as possible because once the JE people found out about these, the lj, the vids and all, it will be more impossible for us to enjoy watching our rainbow princes and we won't be able to flail as much as we can now... there are people being imprisoned in Japan for copyright infringement, for real.
Even at the time we made the page, I was already aware that it would be completely removed someday, but I never thought, it would last for 3 years! That's really long for a page that obviously does copyright infringement *LOL* But still, we were able to put several vids than we expected. ^_^

I have to immediately remove the page now, the page will be completely deleted in 14 days. Bye bye, BLUEStorm.
